This past February we had our first pop-up shop in Paris! We had an amazing space on Rue du Cherche-Midi in the 6th arrondissement. It used to be an old book shop that still has the original interior of wood shelving with old style window cabinets. The space was perfect for displaying our hand made glass!
Our first day open was a sunny & warm spring-like day (in the middle of winter!) and we had lots of curious folk come in, talk with us and welcome us to the neighborhood.
Throughout the week we held a few special events…
We had a Launch Party in which Carolina Spielmann, illustrator parisienne, drew on our windows and customised a few vases for some lucky customers!
We had a Plaster Workshop with Sebastien Nobile of Moulage et Patine where you could make your own masterpiece to take home with you!
Valentina (one of our founders) conducted a Candle Pouring Workshop to show the techniques of how we pour our all natural candles. Each person was able to choose a piece of La Soufflerie glass and make a candle out of it.
Kali, founder of Grow Little, conducted a Terrarium Making Workshop. Each person was able to make & take home their own terrarium from a La Soufflerie container with Kali’s curated plants for easy care!
We also teamed up with our client L’Arbre Paris (who is actually located on the same street!) for a Valentines special in which they flowered & planted select vases & containers as gifts for loved ones on the day to celebrate love!
It was a great experience and such a successful event that we already have another Pop Up Shop planned so stay tuned for the dates!
