Mendiant

 20.00 49.00

A Mendiant is a traditional French confection composed of a chocolate disk studded with nuts and dried fruits representing the four mendicant or monastic orders. Tradition dictates that raisins stand for the Augustinians, hazelnut for the Carmelites, dried fig for the Franciscans, and almond for the Dominicans. We originally created these jars only in the small version to fill with Mendiant chocolates to give to our clients for the holidays. They have since evolved to three different sizes for many different uses.

Since these are handmade, there may be a slight variation in size. We think it makes the products all the more lovely!

Mendiant is available in transparent recycled glass.
