We were invited to Seoul by Gabriel and Adele of La Fermata to do an in-store plaster workshop. Our recent plaster collection was displayed with our glassware to recreate La Soufflerie’s studio environment.
One of the first steps of creating the designs of our signature glass heads is to create them in plaster. We held multiple workshops to intimate groups in which we showed the techniques of how to make a plaster head. Sebastien demonstrated the process step by step by showing what La Soufflerie does on a day to day basis.
At the end of our workshop, each person left with a plaster piece that they had cast and patinated themselves!
